It was on Nevis that the daughter of Willliam Nisbet married Lord Nelson. Today the Nisbet family’s historic sugar plantation house (dating back to 1778) is a romantic little beachfront hotel of great charm and distinction, with an appealing ‘old world’ country house ambience.
